When the EMMY family travelled to Kasese, we went carrying food, prayers, songs, and simple acts of love. What we did not expect was just how much joy would meet us on the other side.

Children welcomed us with big smiles and open hearts. From games under the trees, to moments of worship, to deep conversations, the day became a beautiful reminder that every soul matters to God. We shared the Gospel, listened to stories, and watched hope light up faces that have carried so much weight for so long.

With the help of our partners and friends, food supplies were delivered and distributed to families in need. Teams worked together to offload, carry, and deliver the packages up the hills. It was hard work, but every bag carried was a prayer in motion — a practical expression of the message on our backs: Saved to Serve.

Beyond the physical support, this outreach was about dignity. Children were seen, heard, and reminded that they are loved by God and not forgotten by His people.
