Through Missions, Vocational Skills, and Community Outreach
Empowered Mission Minded Youth (E.M.M.Y) is a youth-centered Christian nonprofit based in Mbarara, Uganda.
We help young people find purpose in God by engaging them in missions, leadership, skill development, and outreach. Every month, we reach vulnerable communities through school visits, donations, evangelism, and youth empowerment.

Whether you have time, skills, resources, or simply a heart to serve, there is a place for you here. Get involved by volunteering during our monthly outreach weeks, mentoring youth through our ambassador program, or supporting our vocational training projects. Together, we can give purpose to the hopeless, skills to the jobless, and dignity to the forgotten. Your involvement today can transform a generation tomorrow.
It’s rare to find grassroots ministries doing such consistent work. E.M.M.Y’s monthly outreach, young ambassadors, and leadership training are outstanding. I trust this ministry, and I’m proud to support it.
I wanted to invest in youth, not just donate. With E.M.M.Y, I’ve supported vocational students and followed their journey. From classroom to toolkit, the transformation is inspiring. Thank you for letting us be part of this.
My church in Texas helped E.M.M.Y fund a school outreach. The photos and videos they sent afterward moved us to tears. You can see the joy on the children’s faces. We plan to continue partnering quarterly.”
Pastor Lynn H.,
Supporting missions in Africa has always been on my heart. E.M.M.Y didn’t just ask for funds—they shared stories, prayer requests, and results. I’ve sponsored girls’ lunches for a year and seen them thrive in school. This is what true partnership looks like.”
I live in the UK, but when I found E.M.M.Y, I saw something different. Their updates are transparent, the team is on the ground every month, and the impact is real. I support the pad distribution and vocational toolkit causes — and I know every dollar matters.
Joining the ambassador team was the best thing that happened to me. I’ve grown bold, learned to lead, and now help run outreach events. I know I was born for a mission.
As a refugee, it’s hard to feel hope. But E.M.M.Y brought books, uniforms, and love to our camp. They said God sees us too. That day changed my heart. I want to study hard and become a teacher.
E.M.M.Y’s hospital visits showed me what true compassion is. We prayed, gave out bedsheets and baby kits. I saw a mother cry tears of joy when we gave her a blanket. That image will never leave me.
I grew up with no direction. E.M.M.Y taught me carpentry and gave me my first tools. Now I build furniture and train two others in my village. My life finally has a future I believe in.
When the E.M.M.Y team came to our school, they spoke with love and gave us pads. No one had ever done that. I felt seen and valued. Now I tell other girls to stay in school and wait for the right time.
